W-2 and Taxes FAQs

How can I access my W-2 electronically?

Active employees now have the ability to access their W-2 electronically at any time through the Employee Self Service portal.

Can I still access my W-2 electronically if I am no longer an active employee?

Yes, terminated or inactive employees have the ability to access their W-2 electronically via Document Self Service (DSS). In order to register, please go to https://www.LUC.edu/dss and select ‘Register User’. You will be prompted to answer questions to verify your identity, including your Loyola email address, DOB, and Zip Code on file with HR at the time of your termination. More detailed instructions can be found here.

If you need to request a replacement copy of a W-2, please fill out a W-2 Request Form, which can be found here:

The completed and signed form should be mailed to payroll@luc.edu.  Please allow 5-7 working days after sending for your request to be processed.

How do I update my Federal or State tax withholdings?

To change your State withholdings, you will need to submit that state’s equivalent of a W-4 form (if any) to Human Resources.  The IL-W-4 can be found here.
