Dual enrollment programs enable you to take courses in another college at Loyola while simultaneously working towards your associate's degree at Arrupe. After graduating with your associate's in 2 years from Arrupe, you earn a bachelor’s degree in 2 to 3 additional years from another Loyola college.

Pre-Nursing Pathway

Students who are enrolled at Arrupe College will continue to pay our stated tuition and fees without any additional costs. Each dual enrollment program has specific Admissions criteria and graduation requirements.

DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM: AA in Social and Behavioral Sciences + BS in Nursing
  1. 2 years at Arrupe + 3 years at Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing
  2. When to apply: During your initial application to Arrupe College OR after your first semester enrolled as a freshman at Arrupe College

Students who pursue the Pre-Nursing pathway will earn an AA in Social & Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in Psychology. In addition to coursework at Arrupe, they take GNUR courses through the Niehoff School of Nursing. Students who successfully complete this associate's degree at Arrupe may pursue the 2 year + 3 year degree pathway to earn a bachelor's degree from the Niehoff School of Nursing.

  • Browse information about college majors: Every college department has a website. Pick some majors that sound interesting, then visit their department websites. You can look at Loyola departments, or departments at other colleges and universities.
  • Explore your interests: Look for events sponsored by colleges or departments that interest you. You can also look for student organizations focused on your academic interests through LUCommunity.
