Internship and Service Opportunities
Law schools will look for leadership and professional experience on your resume. While you do NOT need to have excperience working at a law firm, you do need to showcase engagement both on and off campus. Consider getting involved with student organizations, volunteering at a non-profit, getting a part-time job, or securing an internship during your time at Loyola. In addition, remember that "gap years" can give you an opportunity to expand your professional experience and are seen as valuable by many law schools!
