Jewish Students

Loyola partners with Metro Chicago Hillel to provide students with additional learning opportunities. Through service projects, Jewish learning, social activities, internship opportunities, retreats at LUREC, travel (to places like Israel, DC, New York, etc.), Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, and leadership development, our community enriches the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the entire world. Hindu Students

The Hindu Students' Organization (HSO) serves Hindu students, faculty, and staff who want to practice their Hindu Faith and expand their knowledge about the Hindu religion. HSO has been at Loyola Chicago since 2002 and in the fall of 2022, celebrated 20 years on campus. There is a social space and a Puja prayer room located in Damen 238. Puja prayers are held daily at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday in Damen 238 when the University is in session. To learn more about HSO Click here.

Loyola University Chicago has a vibrant Muslim community that is guided by Muslim Chaplain, Omer Mozaffar. Click here to learn more about Omer. Loyola's Muslim Students' Association is a registered student organization that strives to spread tolerance and build a stronger community by educating all students, staff, and faculty about Islam and its teachings.
