Claire Erlenborn is the Retreat Coordinator for Campus Ministry at Loyola University Chicago. In this role she works primarily on the Loyola 360 retreats and formation of student leaders.

Claire received her BA in Applied Psychology and English from Boston College with a minor in Theology. Since then, Claire completed a year of service with the Augustinian Volunteers in Southern California. During this time, she worked at a Catholic high school, organizing service immersion experiences, coordinating hiking club, and teaching religion classes.

Claire comes to Loyola after completing an MA in Theology and Ministry and an MSW at Boston College. She focused her MSW studies on clinical work with children, youth, and families. Her social work internships involved working with young adults experiencing homelessness, drug and alcohol counseling, and accompanying survivors of sexual violence. In her time at Boston College, Claire worked as a Graduate Minister, running programs around Jesuit Spirituality in residence halls.

Claire is excited to be back home in Illinois after a long stint in Boston. When she is not at work, she is hopefully at the beach reading whichever ebook came off the library wait list (and she’s always looking for new recommendations). Claire loves finding ways to make community, whether it be cooking dinner for friends, playing DnD, or playing intramural volleyball.
