U. S. Energy and Climate Change: Science, Ethics, and Public Policies
This major two day conference addressed the urgency of climate change and explored the validity of the scientific evidence supporting climate change, the ethics of fossil fuel extraction, energy production, and emissions, and the public policy options regarding energy in the United States. Prof. Hille Haker will give a paper titled "Recognition and Misrecognition in Paul Ricoeur’s ‘Course of Recognition'" at the international conference Paul Ricoeur: Thinker of the Margins? / À la frontière de la pensée de Paul Ricoeur. The conference will be held from Sept. 16 - 18 at the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
