U. S. Energy and Climate Change: Science, Ethics, and Public Policies
This major two day conference addressed the urgency of climate change and explored the validity of the scientific evidence supporting climate change, the ethics of fossil fuel extraction, energy production, and emissions, and the public policy options regarding energy in the United States. Ecology and Religion: Pedagogical Challenges & Opportunities
Dr. Sandra Sullivan Dunbar of the Theology Department and Stephen Mitten, S.J. from the Institute of Environmental Sustainability will speak at the Theology Department’s next event on Theology and Ecology. Titled “Ecology and Religion: Pedagogical Challenges & Opportunities,” the colloquium will be held from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. in Coffey Hall – McCormick Lounge.
