About
Miranda Anderson (she/her) is a Chicago-based Equity Stage Manager and is the current Stage Manager Instructor. She is committed to creating and maintaining safe environments for collaborative work and motivating teams to effective execution of productions.
Recently in Chicago she has been working as a Production Stage Manager at Writers Theatre in Glencoe and at TimeLine Theatre Company. Over the years she has also worked at Lookingglass Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Lyric Opera, Rivendell Theatre, The House Theatre of Chicago, and First Folio.
For many years she worked primarily with The Hypocrites most often as a Stage Manager, but occasionally as Production and/or Company Manager. From 2012 to 2018 she toured with The Hypocrites’ Gilbert and Sullivan immersive/promenade productions of Pirates of Penzance, Mikado, and HMS Pinafore to regional theatres including Olney Theatre Company, Pasadena Playhouse, Skirball Center at NYU, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville and American Repertory Theatre in Boston.
Miranda is a member of Actors Equity Association.
