Description: | The student is involved with bedside, operating room and outpatient care of the plastic surgery patient which includes reconstructive burns, acute and reconstructive hand surgery, congenital defects, maxillofacial surgery, esthetic surgery, and skin cancer. Basic principles of wound healing are stressed, as well as the diagnostic and therapeutic measures in plastic and reconstructive surgery. |
