Description: | This is an advanced surgical elective for M4 students who are interested in a focused rotation on diseases of the colon, rectum and anus. Students will participate in the outpatient clinics, operating rooms, and endoscopy suites. Students routinely make presentations and attend lectures in colorectal surgical pathology and journal club. This elective features significant one-on-one interaction with attendings. |
Method of Evaluation: | Clinical evaluation, thoroughness of didactic presentations, and history and physicals (2 submitted). |
