What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola? The campus culture here at Loyola. Our students contribute to a vibrant campus community in such unique and creative ways. I am also fortunate to work with great people, which makes each day an enjoyable experience.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee? I love watching students reach the finish line and graduate – especially these past few years. Since March 2020, students have experienced anything but a traditional college experience and it has been gratifying to help guide them through such a fluid time.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you? Loyola’s mission is a reminder to put our best foot forward and strive to make the world a better place. I truly feel like Loyola’s mission influences our work at every level of the university (student, faculty, and staff) – which makes this such a special place.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day? My students! I want each student to realize their potential and feel empowered to succeed at Loyola and beyond, which motivates my work on a daily basis.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride: I love to wear Rambler gear around the city and also when travelling to new places. It always brings a smile to my face when someone acknowledges my Rambler clothing outside of Chicago!
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you: This year I am running the Chicago Marathon in order to raise money for PAWS Chicago! I don’t think professional running is in my future – but it feels great giving back to an amazing organization.
