What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola? Actually, it’s a tie between collaborating with my co-workers and assisting students. I enjoy working with a great group of people who are so encouraging and inspiring. I also find working with students from admission through graduation is rewarding.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee? Going through the process of graduation was exciting and rewarding. It was great to hear the names of the students that I’ve helped along the way.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you? It means being present. It means being there for others and being part of a community in support of one another.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day? Knowing that my work is a small part of a bigger picture, which is to prepare students to make a difference in the world and lead extraordinary lives. I want to do my best so that students can be their best.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride: Sadly, when I started working at Loyola, I did not own any Rambler gear. My friends in the business school took care of that and now I proudly own water bottles, t-shirts a lovely jacket that I will show off with pride!
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you: I backpacked through Europe in my youth and a funny story…at a train stop in Germany, I bent over to pick up a piece of paper that I dropped and I fell over on my back (because my heavy backpack outweighed me) and like a turtle, I couldn’t get up. Thank goodness Instagram didn’t exist yet!
