Nader Issa
Nader Issa graduated Loyola in 2017 with a BA in multimedia journalism. Issa was an active participant in The Phoenix, Rambler Sports Lock and Sport Management Club. Today, he covers education at the Chicago Sun Times, and has appeared on CNN to discuss many issues related to Chicago. Issa is grateful for studying at the SOC. “At the end of the day, classes are mostly going to be similar wherever you go to school,” Issa said. “But when you have professors who not only worked, but excelled, in their fields, that advice is invaluable. This is going to sound cliche, but I really don’t know if I’d have my job if I didn’t go to Loyola. From the relationships I built with professors and other students, to experiences as a reporter for our student newspaper, to mistakes I made, I learned a ton,” Issa says.
