Campus Safety is writing to inform you of a shooting that occurred at the intersection of Albion and Sheridan Ave. The incident happened at approximately 1:22 a.m. on Friday morning. 
 
The offender was driving a dark pickup truck and fired several shots from the vehicle striking a victim once. The offender then fled South bound on Sheridan Ave. The victim, who is not affiliated with Loyola University Chicago, was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Campus Safety is working closely with the Chicago Police Department on this investigation. If anyone has information on the incident, please call Campus Safety at 773.508.SAFE or the Chicago Police Department via 9-1-1 or 312.744.8263.
