About
Ippolita Conestabile began her career in a program financed by the Rome Municipal Council integrating Roma nomad children into Italian state schools. Concurrently, she earned her Diploma for Teaching Italian as a Second Language. She then became a teacher trainer and was responsible for the creation and field trials of didactic materials for teaching Italian including Magari! Alma Edizioni, collaborating with the authors of various publications in Italy.
In 2015, she obtained a Certification of Competence in Teaching Italian to Foreigners (DITALS II) from the University of Siena and she is currently studying for an MA in Teaching Italian as a Second Language at University of Rome Tor Vergata.
In the last 20 years she has taught at the United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization, the Pontifical Urbaniana University, the Pontifical Swiss Guard, the American Academy of Rome, the Royal Spanish Academy, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, University of Washington, and John Cabot University.
