Joel Han

Assistant Professor


Professor Han joined the faculty at Quinlan in 2017. His research interests lie in the areas of public economics and applied microeconomics, especially in topics related to inequality and intergenerational mobility. His work focuses on residential neighborhoods and how they contribute to inequality in later life outcomes among resident children. His work takes a special interest in how the impact of residential neighborhoods is mediated by the behavior and choices of parents and other family members.
