Amazon Business
LUC has a University Amazon Business Prime membership where staff and faculty can purchase discounted items needed for work (not personal items) utilizing our tax-free status. All Amazon work purchases should be made on the University's Amazon Business Prime account. Individuals and/or departments should not be using their own Prime accounts for LUC purchases, as Loyola will not reimburse Prime membership fees, and Loyola needs to leverage all of its spend under one consolidated account. Note that one's personal purchases on Amazon.com should not be made using your @luc.edu work e-mail.
Amazon Business deliveries should be made to LUC mailrooms whenever possible (note that orders for books can be delivered to homes). All Amazon Business purchases are still subject to LUC Purchasing Policies and Procedures (see link below for details), which do not allow some items (e.g. computers, gift cards, furniture, water) to be purchased on Amazon Business. Additionally, Purchasing may restrict some item categories (e.g. office supplies) that should be purchased through our Pre-Qualified suppliers to leverage LUC spend.
