Beyond the Numbers: Navigating the Challenges of Health Informatics in the Post-Pandemic Era
Overview:
When SARS-COV-2 started spreading across the globe, the world had no data. We didn’t know how it spread. We didn’t know whom it infected. We didn’t know how to stop it. Now, the United States alone has performed 1 billion registered tests. We have data. We are at a much better place than we were in 2019… But are we really? Is a lack of clarity, common definitions, and comprehensive understanding of where, when, and why health informatics can be used hampering our ability to leverage what we learned over the past five years to put us in a better place for the next pandemic?
