For new students, Orientation is the perfect way to catch a glimpse of life at Loyola.
Loyola University Chicago Orientation
The entire Loyola community is excited to welcome you to campus for Loyola University Chicago Orientation (LUCO)!
First-year and Transfer students, Orientation will be your first opportunity to connect with your future classmates and begin building community at Loyola. For family members and guests, Orientation will serve as a time for you to learn about your student's future academic and developmental growth.
At Orientation, students will learn how to navigate the many resources and services in place to assist them with their academic careers, meet with an academic advisor, and register for their classes. LUCO will introduce students to the values and traditions that will enrich their Loyola Experience from now through graduation. Dates for Summer Orientation 2025 will be posted in late October or early November 2024. Please refer back to this page at that time for a list of 2025 orientation dates. Registration for Summer 2025 orientation will open in early May 2025. Please refer back to this page once registration opens in Spring 2025.
