Westlake Nursing Scholarship

Current and prospective students living or working in the healthcare field in West Suburban Cook County can apply for a Westlake Nursing Scholarship. The Westlake Nursing Fund provides up to $20,000 tuition funding each year to undergraduate and graduate students at Loyola Nursing, including students enrolled in the RN to BSN and ABSN tracks.

Please submit your application using the Loyola Scholarship Connection.

If the application submission process has closed and you believe you are eligible based on the requirements above, please email the Director of Student Affairs, Sami Bosacki, at sbosacki@luc.edu.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a Westlake Nursing Scholarship, the applicant must be a current Loyola Nursing student or have an active application and must provide proof of current residency over the past three years or current employment in the healthcare field in West Suburban Cook County.

If selected, scholarship recipients must enroll in an undergraduate or graduate nursing program at Loyola University Chicago’s Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing to receive funding. In addition, recipients must agree to supply a personal (non-Loyola email) and be willing to share occasional career updates in the future.

*Preference for funding will be given to students who live in Proviso Township and demonstrate a high probability for success as evidenced by their statements and/or GPA.

Undergraduate Scholarships

All applications should be submitted through the Loyola Scholarship Connection and open in March. The deadline to submit your application is June 1.

Additional Scholarships

Students also may want to pursue non-Loyola scholarships. While Loyola Nursing does not endorse any organization, we recommend you review the criteria, deadlines, and application process for each scholarship:
