Julia Pryce, PhD

About

Julia Pryce is a Professor in the School of Social Work and the Director of Mission Integration for the Water Tower Campus. She has Advanced Certification as a Spiritual Director in the Ignatian Tradition, and has been committed to the mission of Loyola University Chicago through multiple roles and activities since joining the faculty in 2006. 

Dr. Pryce's research focuses on the role of non-parental adults in the lives of young people, through youth mentoring, child welfare, and other supportive adult roles. She was the Associate Director of the Faculty Center for Ignatian Pedagogy from 2013-2017, and was awarded as the Runner-Up Recipient of the St. Ignatius Loyola Teaching Award in 2022.
