Sergeant First Class Dan Lucas, Assistant Professor of Military Science
SFC Dan Lucas was a member of the KBR contractor as a Senior Logistic Supervisor from 2005 - 2007. He went through basic training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina in 2008 as a 56M (Chaplains Assistant) and then changed his Military Occupational Specialty to 88N (Movement Control Supervisor) in 2009.
SFC Lucas deployed to Kuwait, Arifjan as part of Operation New Age Dawn in 2011 as a non-commissioned officer part of the team, closing the gates from Iraq to Kuwait. After returning from deployment, he was selected into the AGR program from 2012 until 2020. He transferred to Active Duty as 14P (Air and Missile Defense) and was sent to Germany in 2021. Currently, he's part of the 3rd Brigade, U.S. Army Cadet Command, serving as a Military Science instructor at Loyola University Chicago.
