Based out of the north side of Chicago, the Rambler Battalion is hosted at Loyola University. The satellite schools include DePaul University, Northeastern Illinois University, North Park University, and Northwestern University. Located on the bustling north side of Chicago, the Rambler Battalion cadets have access to nearly unlimited resources for educational and professional development. The diversity of the neighborhood gives a valuable cultural perspective hard to find elsewhere. Our Battalion consists of cadets from all over the country and from many different backgrounds. The cadre assigned to our Battalion are highly experienced, well trained soldiers of the Army with over 60 years of combined time in service. Additionally, the Battalion has several civilian employees who work in support of the program's success. Overall, the Rambler Battalion Army ROTC program provides excellent training in leadership development, military skills, academics, and physical readiness.
