Check out pictures from the event, as well as our amazing winners!
Rataj Lecture: Kenneth Ribet
Ken Ribet, UC Berkeley professor and President of the American Mathematical Society, gave a talk on Fermat's Last Theorem for our Rataj Lecture. When an alternate title could be "Andrew Wiles Bests Gauss and Euler," you know there's got to be a compelling story in there somewhere. Indeed, Dr. Ribet gave a fascinating historical account of the story, from antiquity to the modern day solution. Find pictures from the event and a recap here!
LEARN MORELoyola’s Fairness Analytics Competition
Want to learn on how to use machine learning and statistics to analyze big datasets? Want to detect discrimination and unfairness in data? Want to win a fellowship for the next year? Make sure to attend Loyola’s Fairness Analytics Competition on Tuesday, March 28th from 4-7 PM.
LEARN MORERataj Lecture: Kenneth Ribet
Celebrated mathematician, number theorist extraordinaire, and AMS President Ken Ribet will visit us on Thursday 3/16 to deliver the Rataj Lecture in the Mathematical Sciences on Fermat's Last Theorem!
