Bio
Dr. Lucas received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois. Before joining the Loyola faculty in 1982, he taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Illinois Institute of Technology. His research interests in applied mathematics include wave propagation and scattering, plasma physics, and electromagnetic theory. Dr. Lucas has been funded by grants from the Office of Naval Research.
