Printing & Posters
Digital Media Services supports numerous avenues for on-campus printing. Select from the options below that best fits your printing needs.
MobilePrint
MobilePrint is the University-wide system for ease of printing from computer labs and kiosk locations for our Loyola community. It's as simple as sending an email with your documents attached, then swiping your Loyola ID at one of the printer release stations to process and print your job. File uploads to the MobilePrint website and direct printing from any computer lab printer make it just as easy. If you don't have your Loyola ID, or are an Alumni/Guest, you can purchase and use a Courtesy Card to release print jobs.
Poster Printing
Large-format poster printing is available at all 3 main campuses, enabling numerous poster presentations, research symposiums, as well as limited on-campus or event signage.
Tabloid Flyers
Print 11"x17" fliers with ease from our self-service Color/Tabloid printers at our main service locations to elevate awareness of your events, personal posters, or signage.
Buttons, Magnets, Keychain Printing
We offer printing services for buttons, magnets, and keychains enabling customized promotional items or mementos at affordable prices and flexible order quantities.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to print?
There is a per-page cost for print jobs from our computer labs and specialized print services as follows:
- $0.10 per sheet for Black & White double-sided (Duplex) - the default for all lab printers
- $0.07 per sheet for Black & White single-sided (Simplex)
- $0.50 per sheet for Color and Tabloid single-sided (Simplex)
- $0.01 per square foot for Poster Printing, to calculate multiply Height x Width x $0.01
- $0.75 to $1.25 per button for Button Making which vary by button size
On-campus printing uses MobilePrint and deduct funds from your Loyola ID (Rambler Bucks or Uniprint Funds).
Poster and Button printing services allow payment via Rambler Bucks, Account Code Transfers, and at HSC, Credit Card.
How do I add print funds to my Loyola ID?
For MobilePrint and many of our print-related services, payment can be made via your Loyola ID card either via start-of-semester Uniprint dollars or Rambler Bucks. Visit Campus Card's Online Card Office directly to review your balance or add more Rambler Bucks funds.
Campus Card will automatically load $3.50 of Uniprint dollars, funds specific to on-campus printing, after the first week of classes when class registration closes. This amount is the equivalent of 35 free, double-sided Black & White prints each semester.
Can I get a refund for a printer error or issue?
We do not offer refunds for prints in either our labs or print-related services like posters. If there are problems with the printer itself causing jams, wrinkled print outs, or other hardware issues resulting in no print, visit one of our service desks to report the issue promptly for our review and resolution. Once the issue is confirmed, our staff can offer a reprint of your document.
For posters and buttons-related prints, while we do evaluate the poster for proper scaling and help to assess image quality, we rely upon the submitter to ensure there are no issues with written text, such as typographical errors which are not eligible for refund or reprint.
Where can I scan documents?
We have Epson V600 flatbed scanners in a handful of our service and computer lab locations:
- Information Commons 2nd floor, LSC
- Mundelein 703, 706 and 709 labs, LSC (Department of Fine & Performing Arts students only)
- Corboy Law Center room 608, WTC
- The Clare 002 labs, WTC (School of Communications students only)
The Konica Minolta photocopiers in University library spaces also offer some scan functionality, in these locations:
- Information Commons 2nd floor, LSC
- Cudahy Library 1st floor, LSC
- Corboy Law Center 6th floor, WTC
- Information Commons 1st floor, HSC
- Cuneo Center SSOM room 254, HSC
How long will it take to print my poster after submission?
After submitting your order, we guarantee printing within 72-hours (3 days), provided there are no issues, for example problems with scaling/dimensions, image pixelation, or copyright. Depending upon our submission queue and staff working, your order may be processed and ready for pickup sooner. Be aware we do not offer expedited printing services, so please plan accordingly to anticipate 3 days of printing ahead of your poster need or event. To learn more, visit Poster Printing.
