Loyola Hosted Midwest Latin American History Conference
Loyola University was pleased to host the Midwest Latin American History Conference on January 26, 2013. The conference revived a tradition in which Chicago-area universities invited faculty and graduates students from the upper Midwest for a one-day, multi-panel academic discussion of all themes related to Latin American History.
The conference featured a keynote presentation by Dr. Jerry Davila, the Jorge Paulo Lemann Professor of History at the University of Illinois and winner of the Brazil Section of the Latin American Studies Association Brazil Section Book Prize (2012).
The conference convened in the Information Commons on Loyola University's Lake Shore Campus from 8:30-5:45 on January 26,2013. Please register on the 4th floor.
