Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) is a campus-based program administered by the Loyola Financial Aid Office. Undergraduate students with exceptional financial need are given priority for these limited funds. The maximum award amount varies annually according to an appropriation from Congress.
Students are automatically considered for SEOG funds when they complete the FAFSA. These funds do not need to be repaid. At Loyola, SEOG funds are typically awarded to students with a Student Aid Index (SAI) of -1500 who file the FAFSA. The maximum award is typically $500 per year for full-time students and $200 per year for part-time students.
