Classical Studies Essay Contest

Announcing the 2021 Fr. Matt Creighton, S.J., Undergraduate Essay Contest

First Prize: $200 Second Prize: $100

Essays must be written on a topic or theme in Classical Studies. Essays representing Loyola course work completed in Calendar Year (Spring, Summer, Fall) 2020 or Spring Semester 2021 are eligible to compete.

Please email your entries to Lillian Hardison (lhardison at luc.edu) with your entry form.

Entries will be judged by a panel of Classical Studies instructors. The department reserves the right not to award prizes if the committee does not find the submitted essays prizeworthy.

Deadline for submissions extended: noon, MONDAY, March 29, 2021.
