Emma Feeney is a senior lecturer with 13 years of experience in the Biology Department. She teaches classes with a focus on cellular and molecular biology to students at all undergraduate levels. One of her goals in the classroom is to teach her students to be critical thinkers and effective communicators of scientific information. Prior to joining Loyola University Chicago, Emma engaged in research aimed at understanding the regulation of aberrant immune responses that result in neuropathologies. She is currently interested in biology education research and assessment and is actively working to incorporate course-based undergraduate research experiences into the upper-level labs she teaches.
