Growing an Inclusive Clean Economy
The event featured stories from Chicago's business leaders on the frontlines of the American business revolution. An inclusive green economy is taking root across the country and Chicago-land. Since the passage of landmark federal climate policy two years ago, companies have announced more than 300 major clean energy projects nationwide. These projects are expected to create over 100,000 good-paying jobs and drive $120 billion in investments, with some happening in Illinois.
E2’s executive director, Bob Keefe, shared insights from his new book, Clean Economy NOW, which explores how U.S. climate policies are driving a significant economic revolution and the risks it now faces.
