Bridget Lohrius is an award-winning corporate communications executive, an entrepreneur, a C-Suite consigliere and an evangelist for the business imperative of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion.

With more than 25 years of experience, Bridget has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to some of the world's most influential C-suite executives and has emerged as an active lifter of women.

Bridget founded an independent consultancy in 2005 to fill a gap for progressive leaders looking to leverage communication to engage stakeholders and drive action. As the CEO of Tin Roof Communications, she engineers winning strategies at the intersection of customer, employee and leader engagement—an approach that delivers for her clients, including Mars Wrigley Confectionery, Allstate, CVS Health, Follett Corporation, LensCrafters, Lockheed Martin and Walmart, the largest private employer in the world.

Over the years, Bridget has coached and written for Fortune 10 CEOs, COOs, CMOs and EVPs, including Walmart’s first-ever female COO and highest-ranking Latina, Gisel Ruiz. Bridget’s work has appeared in Fortune, The Washington Post and E! News. Her proprietary process for executive coaching delivers higher engagement, increased productivity and lower turnover for clients. She is known for her ability to engender vulnerability and capture the authentic voices of her executive partners.

In 2019, Bridget launched Sandwina, a collective of women committed to lifting other women. Sandwina is on a mission to close the 100-year gender gap faster by empowering women to take charge of their careers through services including career coaching, resume revamps, job search hacks, negotiation upskilling and assertiveness training. Since the launch of this venture, members are earning new jobs, promotions, raises and building confidence.

Bridget’s experiences as a client, an agency partner, a C-suite advisor, an entrepreneur and a professor fuel a passion for identifying and solving business challenges through strategic communication. Her experiences as a “spirited” woman in business, a female founder and a mother of two young girls invoke an urgent need to do more to close the gender gap.

A former illusionist at Six Flags Over Georgia, Bridget learned the importance of strategy and timing as she performed Houdini’s spellbinding “Metamorphosis,” an illusion that dramatizes a gender switcheroo. Bridget earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Vanderbilt University. She is an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago, School of Communication and proud to be among the inaugural cohort of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leadership Institute at Loyola’s Baumhart Center.
