Director of Strategic Communications & Operations, Chicago Debates
Tayo Hill is the Director of Strategic Communications & Operations at Chicago Debates. Chicago Debates is a non-profit organization whose mission it is to advance the educational achievement, community contributions, and life success of Chicago's youth through the transformative power of academic debate. Tayo works to oversee all aspects of Chicago Debates’ internal and external operations and communications efforts to increase organizational efficiency, awareness, visibility, and engagement with external partners.
Tayo works to support both the Chicago Debates' Programs & Development Teams to advance the mission of Chicago Debates, and generate resources and development opportunities to ensure Chicago’s youth have access to opportunities that empower them to find their voice, succeed in college and career, and become leaders in their community.
With several years of experience in both corporate and nonprofit communications, Tayo enjoys leveraging the skills she’s developed to identify opportunities and resources to invest in underserved communities. She is a member, and actively involved, in several community and service-based organizations.
Tayo is a University of Michigan – Dearborn graduate with a degree in Communications – Public Relations and Corporate Communications and a minor in Psychology.
