He is currently director of finance and operations for Better Streets Chicago, a mobility and transportation advocacy organization in Chicago. In this role, he is responsible for internal strategy, fund development, and financial procedures for the organization. With his support, Better Streets Chicago has quickly grown to one of the leading transportation voices in Chicago. In addition to Better Streets Chicago, he has also serves as a financial advisor for other non-profit and advocacy organizations.
Noah has also served as a forensic accountant and expert witness at several professional services firms. In this role, he analyzed companies’ financial documents to quantify and determine the cause of business losses, testifying in court to his findings. This experience provides him the knowledge to dive into the complex financials of an organization, synthesize key take-aways, and present that information in a way that stakeholders without financial backgrounds can understand and use to better their operations.
Noah holds Bachelors of Science degrees in accountancy and finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified in Financial Forensics, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
