David Keys

Associate Dean, Student Success

With more than 12 years of experience in higher education, David has served in roles within Residential Life, Student Organizations & Leadership, and Records & Registration. David discovered a deep passion for providing higher education access to students who tend to be left in the margins. At Arrupe College, David serves on the Black Men for Success Committee, ACUNI Committee, Orientation Committee, and teaches First Year Seminar courses. His main focus is to ensure students have a sense of belonging and support outside of the classroom.

Originally born in Memphis, Tennessee, David has lived in the Chicagoland area for nine years and does not have plans to move away. His hobbies include exploring the city, running, playing volleyball, and as a graduate of University of Tennessee, he also loves cheering on the Volunteers in College Football.
