Dr. Nancy E. Landrum Selected as IES Abroad Research Associate

IES Abroad London Center located in the central neighborhood of Bloomsbury.

Dr. Nancy E. Landrum, professor at the Quinlan School of Business & Institute for Environmental Sustainability, has been selected as an IES Abroad Research Associate for the summer 2017 term in London, England! IES Abroad, a Loyola approved study abroad program provider, offers only two research grants to visiting faculty each year, making the process highly competitive.

Dr. Landrum will be in residence at the IES Abroad London Center for up to one month. Her research will focus on the Circular Economy, a more sustainable economic model being adopted by Japan, China, Scotland, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. She will also have the unique opportunity of teaching up to two guest lectures in IES Abroad courses during the length of her research. The IES Abroad London Center offers two courses that are related to Dr. Landrum’s current research and teaching interests in sustainable business and new economics.

IES Abroad offers a variety of development opportunities for faculty members from the IES Abroad Consortium including research associate grants, teaching grants, and seminars abroad. As a member of the IES Abroad Consortium, Loyola University Chicago faculty can be nominated for some of these unique, international opportunities. IES Abroad Faculty Development Opportunities are designed to bring together U.S. faculty, international faculty, and local experts for an intellectual exchange of ideas.

Congratulations, Dr. Landrum!
